Payment Policy

At UAE Scooters, we aim to provide secure, convenient and transparent payment options for all orders placed through our website.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment methods, subject to availability at checkout:

• Tabby, where available
• Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible UAE orders
• Other payment methods displayed at checkout

Available payment methods may vary depending on the customer's location, device, order value and eligibility.

2. Online Card Payments

Online card payments are securely processed through our authorized payment providers, including Shopify Payments.

UAE Scooters does not directly store or have access to your complete credit or debit card details.

For additional security, your bank or card issuer may require authentication, including 3D Secure verification, before approving your transaction.

3. Payment Currency

Prices are displayed in the currency applicable to your selected market or location.

For customers purchasing from outside the UAE, your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion rates, international transaction fees or other charges. These charges are determined by your financial institution and are not controlled by UAE Scooters.

The final amount and currency applicable to your order will be displayed during checkout before payment is confirmed.

4. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery may be available for eligible orders within the UAE only.

If Cash on Delivery is available for your order, the option will appear during checkout.

We reserve the right to contact the customer to verify COD orders before dispatch. For certain high-value orders, special-order products or orders requiring additional verification, advance payment may be required.

5. Payment Confirmation

An order is considered successfully paid when the payment has been authorized and/or confirmed by the applicable payment provider.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation using the contact information provided during checkout.

An order confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of an order. We reserve the right to contact you if additional payment, identity, availability or delivery verification is required.

6. Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment is declined or unsuccessful, please check that:

• Your card details are correct;
• Sufficient funds or credit are available;
• Online and international transactions are enabled on your card; and
• Any verification request from your bank has been completed.

If the issue continues, please contact your bank or card issuer, or choose another payment method at checkout.

7. Payment Verification & Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers and business against unauthorized transactions and fraud, some orders may be subject to additional verification.

We may contact you to confirm order or payment information before dispatching an order.

Where we reasonably believe that a transaction is unauthorized, fraudulent or presents a significant payment risk, we reserve the right to hold or cancel the order and issue a refund where applicable.

8. Refunds

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed or required.

Once a refund has been processed by us, the time required for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Returns, cancellations and refund eligibility are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

9. Installment & Buy Now, Pay Later Payments

Where services such as Tabby are available at checkout, eligibility, installment schedules, approval and payment management are determined by the relevant payment provider.

UAE Scooters does not control the customer's approval or credit decision made by a third-party payment provider.

Returns and refunds for purchases made using installment services remain subject to our Return & Refund Policy and the applicable payment provider's terms.

10. International Orders

International customers may place orders directly through our website where delivery is available.

Available payment methods, currencies and shipping options may vary by destination. Any customs duties, import taxes or other destination-country charges, where applicable, are handled in accordance with our Shipping Policy and the requirements of the destination country.

11. Pricing Errors & Order Adjustments

We make every effort to ensure that product prices and payment information displayed on our website are accurate.

In the event of an obvious pricing, technical or system error, we reserve the right to contact the customer before fulfillment and, where necessary, cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

We will not charge any additional amount without the customer's authorization.
